Anatomical Distribution of Cellulite in the Arms

Cellulite does not affect the entire arm uniformly. Its distribution follows well-defined anatomical patterns:
-
Posterior upper arm (triceps region)
→ Most commonly affected area, due to vertical fibrous septa and gravitational stress. -
Lateral upper arm
→ Frequently involved, especially in patients with skin laxity and adipose tissue accumulation. -
Medial upper arm
→ Less often affected, but may show dimpling when skin flaccidity is pronounced. -
Anterior upper arm (biceps region)
→ Rarely affected; cellulite in this zone usually indicates generalized involvement or severe grades.
